The last hurrah with Michael and Brenna Part 1

The school year ended and it was time to Michael and Brenna to go home. We wanted to have a fun day with them before they left. Mama and Papa had made them work hard in school and we all needed a fund day.

We borrowed a MAV (Mormon Assault Vesicle A.K.A a big van) from friends of ours since we could not all fit in the Prius. Loaded up and went to Santa Cruz for a day at the beach.

Mama made me wear my life jacket when we went to the water. Mattman complains that Mama is to conservative when it comes to safety. Mattman often tells Mama that he wishes she was not a nurse and not have seen what happens to people when they do not practice safe procedures.

Extra Extra Read All About it.

We interrupt this blog for a special announcement:

I just pooppeyed in the potty!!!
Mama and Papa are so happy.

The last hurrah with Michael and Brenna Part 2 Playing in the Sand

I borrowed a succor ball from someone else on the beach. People have a hard time saying no to such a cute toddler like me.

I had a little bit of a runny nose that day, so the sand kept just sticking to me every time I tried to eat some.

The last hurrah with Michael and Brenna Part 3 Food

We brought hot dogs, chips, sodas, some veggies to eat. Although I think I had more fun eating sand, playing ball and playing in the water water. It was good just being with the people I love and to hang out on the blanket.

The next day, Saturday, Papa, Brenna and Michael got early to take Michael to the airport. I think Michael had wished he had stayed one extra week so he could have done more with his friends in CA., but he was so anxious to get back to his family he could not wait.

That Saturday, Papa and I took the MAV to the car wash. The people said that we could borrow their car anytime since we were washing a car that was not ours. Our friends thought we had brought back the wrong car back.
Brenna that week went to girls camp. She came by the next Sunday to tell us all about it.

Mattman's Birthday

At the end of May Mattman turned 15. We had just a small party: Mattman of course, I was there, Michael, Brenna, Mama, Papa and the missionaries.

Mattman did the same thing he did every year. He blew out the candles and then put all the candles in his mouth to lick off the frosting.

Trying to be like the big people

I try to copy the poeopl I like the most. I think Papa wanted to try out the slide show.
